Since the pandemic in 2020, a lot of us have worked from home, whether by choice or not. Thus, we need to rethink the way we spend time in our own space. If we are not mindful of the way we live, it is very easy to develop bad habits that could affect our happiness. So, I am here to give you a few tips on how we can spark joy at home by doing these little acts:
1. Make bed and breakfast

As a happy work-from-home boss, I'm here to tell you that making a bed in the morning is a great habit to start your day with. You don't need a complete overhaul of your life or brand-new home. Instead, focus on small daily habits that will brighten your mood and add a sense of calm to your space. First, start each day by making your bed. Not only will it give you a sense of accomplishment, but it will also make your bedroom look neater.
The next great habit you can do afterward is to make your breakfast. Whether it is scrambled egg or cereal, fuel up by filling your stomach with breakfast.
2. Maximize Natural Light

Natural lights do wonders to a home. A home with a lot of natural lighting can boost your productivity as well as your overall happiness. So, be sure to open up your curtains.
3. Meditate
whether you're feeling nourished, energized, or stressed, take a moment to meditate or simply enjoy the quiet. Meditation is a mindful activity that can be easily achieved especially when you work from home.
4. Take a Bath
And finally, end your day with a relaxing bath. Add some soothing essential oils and let all your worries melt away. Taking a bath will help you relieve stress as well as muscle strains. You will feel so much better at the end of your day.
With these simple rituals, you can create a sanctuary that's truly joyful in the confine of your own home.
Getting into a good habit is not easy. However, if you are able to stick around for a few weeks, I guarantee that you will love it and feel glad that you make these small changes in your life for the better. Remember: make your bed and breakfast. Let the light in. Meditate. And, take a bath. Joys are in the little things we do.
