1. Find Your Favorite Colors
This may seem like a no brainer. But, some times, we just do not know where to start. So, start with the color you love. the color that attracts your attention. Do you like bold, bright color? Or, do you like pale color? Let the color inspire you to grab something that beautiful to your room. It can be a set of pillows, throw blanket, a wallpaper or a lampshade.

2. Now Add Contrast
The next simple thing you can do is to add contrast to the colors you just find. This is a perfect and easy way to bring out your favorite colors, as well as soften them out with the background. 4. Bring Greenery into Your Room
Another way to add dimension and colors to a bedroom is to bring plants and greenery with it. And, if you are not a fan of real plants or simply can’t keep one alive for a while, opt in for a high quality faux plant. Faux Monstera is among the most popular indoor plants right now. If you choose to go with a faux one, I recommend a 3 - 4 ft- tall plant, for a regular size bedroom. For a more dramatic look, find two or three plants that have different sizes, and group them together.

5. Style with an Accent Rug
My favorite and easiest way to bring dramatic change to a room is to incorporate an accent rug or an area rug. A hand knotted silk rug definitely makes a room more colorful. 8 x 10 ft is a recommended size for a bedroom size 13’ x 15’.
