How to set up your rug: 
Remove packaging and roll out our Maia Homes rug on the ground (we recommend pairing it with a non-slip rug pad to keep the rug in place).
Flatten out edges by weighing them down with heavy objects in each corner and curved edges should flatten in a few days.

How to Care for your Maia Homes Jute Rug:

Do not pull loose ends; clip with scissors to remove. 
Shedding of loose fibers is normal and will diminish with regular vacuuming. 
To prevent dust from settling into your rug, vacuum regularly and/or shake. 
Do not use a rotating brush roll or brush attachment.
Turn carpet around occasionally to equalize wear.
Keep away from excessive moisture.
Blot spills immediately with a white cloth.
Professional rug cleaning is recommended as needed.
Harsh chemicals may damage or fade the rug.
A rug pad is strongly recommended.
Store it by rolling out the front side outside and wrapping it in cloth for protection. 
Place in a dry and well-ventilated area.

Hand Wash or Machine Wash at Max Temp 85 F.
Dry Flat.
Reshape by Evenly Stretching while Wet.
Rinse-Off Stain. Do Not Rub.
Do Not Spin. 
Do Not Tumble Dry.
Do Not Damage the Welded Edge.
Do Not Pull Loose Ends; Clip with Scissors to Remove.

Chea Yuthea

Chea Yuthea is one of the very few highly skilled artisans who is tremendously respected for his works over 4 decades in Khmer Nielloware.

Some of his highly favored works comprise of bronze and brass Khmer cremation urns, decorative bowls, and vases. The majority of his engravings are inspired by the Ramayana, Angkor era floral patterns and tales of warriors. Each piece may take up to 6 months to complete.

Currently, he is working from a small workshop with assistance from his adult son.

Adriana Zárate was born in Monterrey, Mexico. She majored in Visual Arts in the Universidad Autónoma of Nuevo Leon. She continued post-grad studies in the School of Art and Design at Montgomery College in Washington DC. Adriana has received several awards, distinguished national mentions, and won Biennales; her artworks are part of the state´s collection.She has been recognized for her art exhibitions all around Mexico and in several cities in the USA. She now works as a freelance artist and still collaborates with private and government institutions.
