Refund policy

By placing an order through Maia Homes you are agreeing to the terms below. We set these policies to ensure that you are fully aware of our refund and return methods and procedures. These policies apply to the United States of America (USA). FOR ORDERS OUTSIDE THE CONTIGUOUS UNITED STATES, VISIT SECTION G BELOW.


A. 30-DAY RETURN POLICY 

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your order to request a return. All returns must arrive at our facility within 45 days of the receipt of the item. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. All clearance sales, subscription boxes, furniture, made-to-order, non-returnable sales, wallpaper samples, Last Ones Collection and customized items are FINAL SALE and are not eligible for a return. Please contact customer service at customercare@maiahomes.com if you have any problem with your customized purchase or subscription boxes.

  

B. RETURN PROCESS

To start a return, you can contact us at customercare@maiahomes.com or call us at +1 5129879603‬. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. All returns must be shipped out within 7 days after return approval. We do not offer free return pick-ups. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.


C. DAMAGED AND WRONG PRODUCTS OR ISSUES

Please be advised that most of our items are handcrafted, meaning they are one of a kind and have imperfections that make each item slightly different from the advertised images. All items are carefully inspected and securely packed prior to shipment.

Occasionally, damage happens. Upon delivery, if you notice damage, please refuse the delivery and contact us immediately. Or, upon reception, within 48 hours, please contact us with proof of any damages to the item and the package so we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Our team will promptly work on a replacement. Please know that damage claims can take some time to resolve, we appreciate your patience.

D. EXCHANGES

E. RESTOCKING FEE

We assess each return carefully and individually. Returns may be subject to a 25% restocking fee if they don't meet our free return policy.


F. REFUNDS

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

G. ORDERS OUTSIDE THE CONTIGUOUS UNITED STATES

We do not offer a free return for orders outside the contiguous United States. The contiguous United States consists of 48 states and does not include Alaska and Hawaii. Shipping Cost is non-refundable. Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs which vary depending on item sizes and weights. We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your order to request a return.
