To keep the texture, shape, and color of a woven blanket, you need to be careful when you wash it. First, always check the care label. Some woven blankets can be washed in a machine, but others may need to be washed by hand or dried.

If you can wash things in a machine, use cold water, a gentle cycle, and a mild detergent. A large mesh laundry bag will protect the blanket from damage. Do not use bleach or fabric softeners on it.
